Because they hate Amir. Simple as that. They dont want their hero, JMM, to get beat by a guy who they've been calling a "hypejob" all this time. They realised that there was a good chance Amir would beat JMM and if that would've happen they'd be embarassed because they have been calling Amir a "hypejob" for so long. Yeah JMM is real tough to fight the overrated and now even past-prime Ricky Hatton. He will not get his 4th weight division belt which no other Mexican has achieved before, by beating Ricky. Initially I thought the 4th belt would be JMM's big motivation but I found out he is most likely afraid Amir would beat him.
