The second time around: Corrales vs. Castillo

Corrales' actions of spitting out his mouthpiece is completely UNWARRIOR like. Warriors fight with honor.

Please don't be so mean...get over it...im sorry, after watching one of the greatest fights in the history of the sport it is going to take me a little bit longer to get over it than 5 days.

Imagine if your precious Tito was stopped in the same fashion...you would be crying until the end of time...no you wouldn't cry you would have forgotten all about it on Sunday right? Right!

Actually, I was rooting for Castillo as he is one of my favorite fighters. No, not as much as Cotto or Trinidad, but I was really disapointed and actually took the loss badly. That being said, after thinking of how many people here just keep creating excuses, I get angry at them for not accepting the loss like men and crying like children. We have a saying in PR: "A llorar pa' maternidad;" if you want to cry go to the maternity room. There is no sense in crying over spilled milk so just accept it and move on.

I moved on two days after the Tito-Hopkins fight, one of the worst disapointments in my life. It took me two days to move on after this fight, too. I just think people are holding on too much.

Do I think Castillo wins a rematch? Absolutely! Do I think Chico wants one? No. Do I think Chico wanted to quit from the 8th round on? Yes!

Chico spit his mouthpiece out in the 8th. First he stuck it out, signaling he was tired and hurt, then he put it back in and stuck it out again 10 seconds later. It was then knocked out by a Castillo punch, but the mouthpiece was already half pushed out by Chico. Yes, Chico learned from Freitas and spit the mouthpiece out and, in my eyes, would've got KTFO if he didn't have the extra 28 seconds but I think Weeks acted correctly and there is nothing to do now but wait for a rematch.

Castillo KO 6 in a rematch.

theres a big difference between the Trinidad-Hopkins fight the Castillo-Corrales fight...being that the latter was actually close. Hopkins dominated Trinidad..so theres no "excuses" or whatever to make up. Castillo lost..ok..fine..but Corrales spiting out his mouthpiece..is very un-warrior like..much like Freitas..doing the same

Point of view taken but the only person you could say anything about in that fight was Tito cause he straight out lost. Castillo was cheated more than once in this fight there were to many mistakes made. The fight was in the bag already and was taken away. I give Corrales credit for the win but would be really pissed if he doesnt take a rematch.

Chico earned & won his victory fair & within the rules of boxing. If he cheated or violated anything, he would've been DQ'ed. Weeks did the right thing & took a point away from him for the 2nd time the mouth piece was out. Castillo could've had alot points taken away for all the low/hip blows he was hitting Chico with throughout the fight. Weeks did the right thing & just let them fight. No standing 8 count for Castillo because he was out on his feet after absorbing some massive blows. He was beaten by someone who wanted the win a little more than him. If anyone questions Chico's heart as if he wanted to quit than they've never seen his reaction when he & PBF fought & that fight was stopped. He cursed his father out & looked as if he wanted to hit him. Or what about his reaction to when the Casa fight was stopped. He was a bloody mess & kept BEGGING for just 1 more round. He's no quitter & probably never will be.

I've watched the fight twice & he hits Chico multiple times on the hips & low. I think you need to watch it again.

Ya watch it again and pay att. to Chico when he does the same and add some hitting behind the head and pulling his head down also.

Corrales beat Castillo ! And they both were fighting dirty, cause it was a dirty fight.
