Why it makes sense for GBP:

- It makes more money, the Brits will defend & Love Hatton Forever.

-These 2 are clearly near the end of their careers so even if they lose a fighter after this, it was clearly coming and was at least able to cash out.

- They both have a common theme in May & Pac, and can be marketed to the American audience well.

- Who ever wins..can still go and have a big fight with Khan after.

- Khans debut should be played safer. As a big future investment if he loses to Marquez its over. Khan fighting Malanagie who already has an established name, would be a safer bet as far as keeping him as an investment. ( Plus it might even be more competitive)

I dont know, a tune up for Ricky is risky and can even turn out disastrous. If he loses a tune up he risks a potential (hypothetical) mega fight w/ Marquez. He's gotta fight while his stock is still relevant.

And the Same can be said about Marquez. Why is he even agreeing to fight Khan, Even if he wins its more high risk, little reward for beating someone who is relatively unknown to the mainstream American audience.
