Even though im with Bernard Hopkins and Support him all the way when he fights......i still think that you should Respect Jones Jr for his Accomplishments and atleast wish him luck for continuing to fight...

What I wish is that Roy would retire and replace Lennox Lewis at HBO. You wanna wish him luck? Wish that he doesn't start slurring his words from gettin' KO'd 1 too many times. I just can't understand why he keeps fighting. He's too smart and has the example of McClellan that seems like he's been quoted as fearing. He must have lost his ass in the market or something. It has to be money.

Bernard? Guess I can understand him wanting to avenge his loss and seein' the opportunity and takin' it, though any kind of victory will have even less significance than the win Calzaghe holds over Roy.

Hopkins chose to fight Roy, and Roy is clearly taking the opportunity to make money.

Hopkins has a great chance to win, but never give up on Roy.

Roy's chin is not great, but Hopkins doesn't have that workrate to put Roy down IMO. He has the accuracy and enough power, yet I feel Roy will work his ass off here. Going to Australia and not having your chosen sparring partners isn't great, plus Roy overlooked Green and took it easy in that first round.

I'm backing Roy even though he has a better chance to lose.

Man this is a ****ed up thread we shouldn't act like this with a great champion like roy jones jr was. i think that he deserves this fight no matter what cause hopkins wants this fight and hopkins is the one that has to prove something not jones. he already beat hopkins with just one hand and he did it went they were both in there prime so this is just redemption in behalf of hopkins ill pay to see the great jones and hopkins do it one last time and we should respect these champions by buying this fight....

I would have NEVER rated Hopkins in his prime when he fought Roy....
I would think Hopkin's prime was around the time he fought Trinidad...

Long time Jones fan, I said initially I wasn't going to get this fight but I may get it by the time the fight happens. I’ll be rooting for Jones but if he don’t fight with his hands up no way the fight will go to distance. Because if he if he got caught by Danny Green and didn’t see the punch coming imagine what B-Hop going to do? He might have a better chance fighting like how he fought Tito with the Turtle shell defense.

I keep seeing people saying Roy’s chin isn’t good? The only person that shattered his chin was Tarver. His other two KO’s from Johnson and Green are head shots on the side of the head, this is real vulnerable spot for Jones which is the reason why he needs to keep his hands up. Especially now since his legs are gone and he can no longer move out the way like he used to avoid the onslaught.
