The only way Tyson can win is by a KO by 3nd round, which will not happen.. Ruiz will just keep hugging.
As Tyson no longer has that stamina, he will run out of gas and will be (it hurts me saying this) out boxed by Ruiz

Ruiz getting a UD over Tyson. (Might even drop him by 9th round)

But in reality this fight will NEVER happen! You're forgetting that Promoters make the fights and not Fighters.
Tyson will always be Tyson.. and has a big puncher's chance of knocking out just about anyone who does not have a concrete chin.
As Tua once exposed that chin in Ruiz, Don King would never go for this bout.

Why risk a belt that Tyson will later loose to the likes of Danny Williams?

      Hell no.

As big an embarrassment as John Ruiz has been to boxing, Tyson is ten times worse, for fans, promoters, and himself. Tyson is a one-round fighter now, and since I'm fairly confident that Ruiz can take the one or two decent punches that Tyson can throw anymore, I say Ruiz would clobber him around round six.

And as much as it sickens me to say it, I'd be rooting for Ruiz.

You tyson haters are idiots. Mike Tyson is one of the only reasons boxing is even as popular as it is. I hate to imagine the state of boxing if Tyson would've retired 10 years ago. Nobody would've given a **** about Evander Holyfield or Lewis. DLH wouldn't have been as famous because Boxing ratings in general would be down without Tyson.

Tyson kept the sport alive, kept it from falling off TV. Let's hope we can get someone else to really spark the public interest. Toney is a possibility if they'd leave him alone with this bull**** on steroids, which is clearly not Toney's fault anyhow. Just the white conspiracy I believe.

Oh, Tyson ****ing kills Ruiz, Round 1, guaranteed. As soon as Ruiz hugs Tyson and Mike feels Ruiz get hard, get the casket ready...

Agree 100%. Tyson haters are so ****ing idiots to say that he is a big embarrassment to the sport. Tyson, love him or hate him, is still mike Tyson, probably the most recognized boxer in the history of boxing.

Im sorry but I just dont see Ruiz beating Tyson. I think he would be scared, he looked intiminated by Toney at the press. Tyson would have him atleast nervous, so he will try to clinch Tyson to death and, Tyson is a huge boby puncher, I think he would hurt Ruiz early as in the 1st RD, then probally KOing him by the 3rd. Ruiz doesnt have the power to KO Tyson IMO. He couldnt even hurt Roy. 199 pound Middle wieght. I cant wait for this fight I think it will happen because Tyson is ranked #8 by the WBA i believe and I kno if he wins a few fights he will be like #2 just because hes Tyson. Forcing Ruiz to either vacate the title or fight Tyson eventually. But since the only Title holder that aint scared to give Mike a shot is Vitali this fight will probally happen 1st. But any way Tyson KO's Ruiz in 3. AND NEW WBA CHAMPION, IRON MIKE TYSON!!!

Oh yeah RJJ almost KOed Ruiz in the 4th with a huge right hand. If Tyson lands a clean power shot is night night for Johnny Ruiz and his career.

Lets say Tyson wins a couple of easy fights and Ruiz continues to beat non middleweight for a couple of fights, Does Tyson-Ruiz have a shot of happening? And Who wins and why?
                    Yes. Tyson. He's better.
