Interesting non-title HW fights that could be made

As the heavyweight division continues to flounder, especially with any hope of a Toney-Byrd unification bout destroyed by Lights Out's mishap, let's look at some possible (if not probable) heavyweight non-title fights that can be made...

    Peter-Valuev
--Hype, undefeated record eliminator...winner would be public favorite for a title shot...could be a nice HBO Boxing After Dark headliner...

    Brock-Golota/Brewster Loser
--Would be a nice step up from McCline, would prepare him nicely for a title shot if he could get past either of these guys...

    Wlad-Toney
--"Comeback" fight for Toney after he's stripped? Great HBO Boxing After Dark fight...I think it's possible because Toney will want redemption immediately and the Klit group will surely test Wlad against James before Vitali has to fight him...

(WARNING! Inevitable Tyson could compete in the HW division discussion below!!!)

    Tyson-Williamson
--If Tyson can stop McBride impressively (though fights like that are always a lose-lose for Mike), he could take on the perhaps most deserving non-champion in the heavyweight division...not likely though, since DK is involved.

    Wlad-Tyson
--Enough said, huge PPV for HBO (presumably, or does Showtime have more fights with Tyson...I thought Tszyu was the last fighter under contract with them)...most entertaining/intriguing nontitle fight possibility

    Toney-Tyson
--Well, this or Wlad-Tyson would be the most exciting nontitle possibility...

Basically, without getting repetitive, a round robin of possibilities between Tyson-Toney-Wlad-Peter...any of those fights would be good for the division.

Damn, this division is a mess...

    Thoughts?

I agree in a way and it shows how bad the division is...

but what the division needs are the champs to fight each other period...

how many more years of Golata getting a shot at every champ before they fight each other?

how many more years of Ruiz fighting a middleweight or former contender/champ before they fight each other?

we need a unified champ, a dominant champ so that some prestige can be brought back to the division...not spinoff circus fights...

Any heavyweight in the division now would benefit the most financially if they decided to fight Tyson. Tyson still is the biggest draw in boxing with Vitali being injured and his(tyson)name alone commands millions of dollars with huge ppv sales.

I also like up and comer Sam Peter for his aggresive and intimidating style of fighting. Do I dare say, the next GF.

Also throw Tua in the mix and you got some interesting non-title matchups.

The only real non-title fight I'd like to see is a Brock/Peter fight. Peters KO power against Brocks good all around skills. Brock also showed some heart in his last fight and showed that he can get up and win. I'd make those two even money since Peter hasn't fought anyone on Brocks level.
