I think Mosley's a little too over confident in his speed, Anyone can look fast against Marg. Mayweather's reaction speed is still amazing, he proved it in the Marquez fight. Mosley has the skill set to beat Mayweather but if he's going to box and use his speed against a more skilled and faster boxer then i think he's in trouble.

Shane's matchmaking woes aint nobodies fault but his. Mayweather wasnt trying to fight the much bigger guys like Shane did and failed at. Shane believed his on press and it resulted in embarrassing loses. Then when you factor in the PED usage what do you really have? Many thought Shane lost the 2nd Oscar fight. Not to come down on Shane cause that's my man but Floyd is a whole lot smarter which is why he's been far more successful. Nobody told Shane to jump over 140 and go straight to 147 instead of allowing his body to develope up to the extra weight first.

i like that shane is confident, i don't believe him to be faster than floyd by any means, and he's def not a slicker boxer. i do believe shane is just as intelligent as floyd is however, he thinks when he fights, he's forgotten more about boxing than alot of fighters ever knew, and he has the ability to change what he's doing in a fight. and i honestly think he beat margarito so masterfully because of ****m. without the trainer change i bet that would have been a much uglier fight.
case in point is the cotto fight, mosley finally started coming on late in that fight but it obviously wasn't enough. but regardless all of his best moments occurred after like round 8. he was just very apprehensive and didn't lash out at cotto at any point cos cotto was still undefeated and had all that confidence margarito took away.
but my point is that shane won't be discouraged. he's seen it all, yet has never been KO'd or stopped, and it's true that he has fought a lot of bigger guys. the reason im such a big shane fan is because in his prime he had that mentality to take dangerous/bad fights for him. it may have scarred his record but it definitely wins respect. and if you don't respect him for his bad choices then you don't care about the best fighting the best in boxing and that sucks.
i like him saying he's going to box with floyd- but we all know the truth about shane. he likes to fight, if he finds the right balance between chess match and dog fight i still think shane has the greatest chance to beat floyd of anyone who has fought mayweather.
and please dont EVER compare mosley to gatti, lol. thats just idiotic.
okay im done hugging testicles.

No one has dominated Marg like Mosley did, other than Mosley. It might have been partly because Marg's mind was elsewhere, because he'd been caught trying to cheat. It might have been partly because of a bad training camp. But it might have been mostly because Mosley used the perfect gameplan. No one can ever know for sure how much weight each of those three factors played in the way the fight played out. But the majority of boxing experts believe that Mosley's game plan and his rejuivanted performance on the night were most of the reason that the fight went the way it did.

Cotto may have beaten Marg to the punch a lot of the time but he still took a lot of punishment, which eventually caught up with him; and didn't look that fast. Clottey injured his hand, but didn't break it; and the Williams-Margarito fight was very close, and Williams had to take some heavy punches late on.
