But, again my boxing knowledge is not up to par with you Floyd fans. So you count if Floyd fought 40 different fighters? And if he did can you please post every single fighter he fought? Thank you sir...

Things got a lot brighter in 2009. Mayweather announced his return to boxing, and Pacquiao became a major player at 147-pounds. Mosley began a heavy media campaign to fight both of them. Neither fight materialized as Pacquiao and Mayweather were more focused on fighting each other.

Mayweather said it himself......its not about speed and power, its about inches and timing!!!.....Shane has the advantage in inches and Floyd won't be trying to pressure.....so why can't Shane outbox Floyd?!?......oh I forgot, Cotto outboxed Shane right?!?......

Man, Shane needs to say what he really thinks about Floyd and let some of that animosity out, turn the tide and get Jr steamed. Maybe in the upcoming 24/7 we'll see some tensions rise.

First off resume will have nothing to do with this fight. Mayweather has never faced an opponent like Mosley and Mosley sure has hell never faced an opponent like Mayweather. Mayweather doesn't strictly rely on his physical gifts to win fights which is what Mosley does and thinks that Mayweather is going to do. Mayweather's "smarts" and ability to adjust on the fly is what separates him from other fighters. "Everyone has a fight plan till they get punched in the face."

And for those saying Mosley is too confident well what do you expect him to say Floyd is smarter than me and will counter me all day? Lets be real they have a fight to sell and talking crazy like this sells. And as for him saying that he will outbox Mayweather, how do you guys not know that he is just saying that to throw Mayweather off while preparing for him and make him think thats what he is going to do instead of fighting a typical Mosley fight. Never show your deck of cards before hand because the element of surprise can be a dangerous weapon. Shane is not the smartest boxer in the world but remember who he has in his corner "****m" the great strategist. Thats one thing he does have over Floyd going into this fight.

I see Mayweather winning in a unanimous decision.

That was a good piece and Shane makes a decent case although I think his reasoning is somewhat flawed because he is not that much bigger then Floyd but atleast he sounds convinced. It will be interesting to see what they both try to accomplish on fight night.

I would be real impressed if Shane was able to pull it off though, it would certainly change the way I view him.

You people are crazy if you believe Floyd will be able to potshot Shane all day and still win this fight. Shane has a great chin and most power punches don't hurt him nevermind a potshot. Shane has fought much better fighters then Floyd its a fact. If Floyd fought all the people that Shane fought better believe he wouldn't still be undefeated. Shane is gonna beat Floyd if not knock him out. Floyd isn't a tough guy and doesn't like to engage or take any punches. Shane is a tough bastard with the heart and skills to match. He is gonna walk Floyd down. If Floyd expects to win he will have to fight like the old Floyd because potshotting will not get the job done. He will have to fight like the old Floyd and let his hands go. And if he does that he will really get laid out.

And you clowns act as if Floyd cannot be outboxed like its an impossible task. For anyone saying that check out Mayweather's fights against Hatton, De La Hoya, and Zab Judah. Floyd did adjust and win all those fights but remember Oscar and Zab ran out of gas. Shane will NOT run out of gas. And if Shane gets Floyd hurt Floyd is going to sleep. There is a reason Floyd didn't want this fight. Shane is a combination puncher with great hand speed and power. All of Floyd's shoulder rolling isn't gonna stop all those punches. Shane's best punches are the straight/overhand right, left hook upstairs, and left hook to the body. Floyd has a lot to watch out for.
