Well, it all depends on how JMM carries the weight. JMM was a small LW and while he won both of his fights there, they were pretty hard fights for him. At 142 he did not look very good physically and he was slow. Now before you say PBF made him look slow, keep in mind that Khan is incredibly fast himself and is capable of doing the same.

I really don't see much of an improvement for him going down to 140, given who he'll be in against. Khan will basically peck away at Marquez from the outside and take the least amount of risks possible, IMO. I know JMM is far superior in terms of ring intelligence, savvy, and experience, but I believe there's just only a certain limit one can go physically....

The big factors in this fight wont be physical IMO. Its basically boy vs. man. JMM is a 36 year old vet who has fought ATG's liek pac and Floyd. Khan is still a 22 year old kid with fast hands.

His ability to counter punch is being over looked. He countered Pac at willand even got Floyd at times. Khans chin is also a factor. If JMM nails him I think Khan goes down.

I'm not overlooking JMM's abilities to counter punch, and I think he's capable of winning but where you and I differ is your opening line. I believe that the fighters physical make up will be a factor in this one.

Yeah, he countered Floyd, but they were few and far between. He also countered Pacaquiao at a weight that was more comfortable for him, and Pacquiao also came at him and opened himself up. I think Khan is basically gonna stay on the outside and take very few risks.
