Will Mayweather get any credit if he beats Mosley?

I think there will be alot of excuses if Floyd wins and he will get limited credit but people will want it both ways. They will say that its not a legit win because Shane is old but at the same time because of that win, most will now pick him to beat Pac and they will say that its an unfair fight because he is bigger. I think he will beat both guys and people will give him some credit because they dont want to look like flat out haterz but there will be alot of excuses and alot of people saying that Floyd still needs to beat this guy and so on. I dont think he will get full credit until he beats them and goes to 154 to beat Martinez and or Williams depending on how hot they are at the time. Martinez will be in a similar catagory though. They will say he is too old also even though Floyd will be staring at 34 himself at the time which no one seems to realize.

I don't think a prime Mosley could beat Mayweather anyways. But the fact of the matter is that Shane is getting older, so there will always be questions if Floyd beats him.

True. Many people have fought SSM already so why should PBF get credit for fighting him. Just like PBF thinks he deserves a medal for fighting DLH at 154. Many people were brave enough to fight DLH. PBF has to fight someone at the end of the day. Its just he thinks he deserves extra credit or something.

Dont let it get to you really. Pac dont get credit for everything he has achieved by Floyd fans as well.
Boxing experts giving Pac is one thing. Expecting Floyd fans to give Pac credit, for wins against the likes of DLH, Hatton, JMM, Cotto, Barrera, MOrales etc etc is another thing altogether.

But i dont think Pac would ever try to get Floyd fans to give him credit. So called Boxing experts opinions, unbiased boxing fans in generals opinions and Pacs fans opinions is what matters to Pac.

he will get credit if he shuts out mosley, but i doubt it. mosley will have his moment there in the ring, to give floyd the beating of his life - a KD in the late rounds. it will be a struggle for floyd even if he wins by SD.

I'll give him credit because Mosley is still tough.............................even at 38.....j/k it shoud be a good fight. Shame I won't be letting Floyd's marketing strategies affect me anymore. I'll be streaming this fight live and watching it on reg HBO the following week as much as I want to watch it to see Floyd possibly lose. Floyd will get credit though because Mosley is no slouch.
