indeed it is mythical... i agree

but to say it's of no relevance in the real world... i think you have a problem there bro, why would evryone lay claim to it if it is that insignificant???

bro, remember mayweather isnt the comission
Yeah i agree but neither is manny. Neither BA or manny wanted to go to the commission about that 10 mil over the weight penalty so why should this go to the comission, because in the end they were both contract requests not demands.

Also i dont think floyd or mosley have to beat manny to be #1. i mean its not like manny fought floyd to get that title in the first place so its really subjective to me.

i dissagree... as the commission has it's own stipulations regarding drug testing and not the matter that concerns penalty for weight

it that isn't clear to you, i don't know what is?

That's where things start getting confusing,it's like so,U have Mosley at 147,who has fought more elite welterweights than Manny & Floyd combined!!Just recently destroys Margarito who was #1 right??OK,then Cotto gets beat by Manny at a catchweight of 145 & Floyd comes in out of retirement & beats a fat lightweight!!So how does Manny become #1 off a catchweight fight??How does Floyd become #3 from beating a fat lightweight??Finally how does Mosley, the man that has the best resume at 147 out of the 3 become #2??It's simple, the ring is focusing more on the star power of Floyd & Pacman & pfp, than ranking the fighters the right way!!That my friend,is focusing too much on pfp!!

yup indeed... they're focusing indeed on what they want the most....

            to be the myth

being one gives a fighter so much leverage... doesn't it?

True to an extent, but Mosley-Floyd outsells Clottey-Pacman & If Floyd beats Mosley,he will hold more bargaining tools & leverage than Pacman, believe it!!

Why resort to name calling instead of letting us know your own opinion?

I'd like to leave you with one thought...but I'm not sure you have anywhere to put it!
