fair enough. im confident in Golota for two reasons.

    1. This is his last shot at a major belt and i think he might get it through his thick skull this time and put out a great effort

    2. This fight is in Chicago and Andrew will have a HUGE polish crowd rooting him on, which i think will spur him to great things.

I could be wrong and thats why they fight the fight in the ring, not on paper. Best of luck to your guy

My damn point exactly. That was also a thing of the past in him losing to etienne. Like Lennox even said, "we are in the heavyweight business. One punch changes a fight". who exactly better to do so, than a fighter with a big heart...who is absolutely relentless like his nickname.

Wlad lost to Purity. LOL so what.
Tyson lost to Danny Williams. LOL so what.
Toney lost to Griffin twice. LOL so what.

Means absolutely nothing as far as I am concerned. Don King said himself when assembling the supposed Tourney that never took place.......Brewster would finish on top.

Glenn Johnson has proven himself to be a contender, Ettinee has not, I kno it dont matter who people have lost to in the past, but i just dont see anything special outta Brewster. If he can beat Golota maybe my mind will be changed but he got a gift desicion over the better man that night against Meehan.

            1. Golota already blew 3 opportunities of being a world champ. What makes you believe that he will not blow his 4th?

            2. I'm sure that whatever the Polish crowd in rooting for Golota in Chicago, they will be completely out numbered by the black and American fans rooting for Brewster.

Brewster suffered a broken jaw in that fight against Meehan. Once you break it it's hard for it to get back to 100% especially when you have 235 pound guys punching at it with serious power. That could lead to Brewster's downfall where he may not be able to take a punch to his jaw the way he used to. But then again Golota's downfall has always been his psyche so this should make for an interesting matchup.

Yeah thats a good point. If any deterrent to him taking a punch was evident, that would be the culprit. I only make these threads and such, because people do not understand him as a fighter....and more than likely have only seen him fight against Wlad or Meehan. I liked watching him fight on thunderbox when it was around...and he impressed me back then. This guy is really oldshcool. He is the toughest heavyweight physically. He has the biggest heart in the division. He also is exciting to watch fight, when he is not fixing them.

I agree Brewster is a good tough guy who has a big heart but not a whole hell of alot a talent. He has won fights because he has been able to withstand tremendous amounts of punishment and counter when his opponent is tired. This fight will go a long way in determining whether or not Brewster has the talent to continue being a champion.

what aganist a guy who danny williams beat in a round? the guy is not a great boxer, and of course neither is brewster, brewster should fight a rahman or a tua, or maybe go one further and fight vitali klitchko, at least he can't do much worse than some of the guys klitchko has faced
