I have always heard for years that he "steals" money from boxers or something of that affect.. But I was curious if any of you ni99a's had actual details or examples of some of the dirty dealings King has done to earn this rep.

What specifically has he done? Has tyson,Ali,Chavez,Trinidad,Mayorga,Cambell or any of the MANY others boxers he's promoted ever open up with spec's???

Because he stepped on and scuffed up my brand new British Knights at the Chavez/Whitaker fight. That's Why!

Another trick of Don King: Alot of boxers don't get enough exposure. These guys are desperate. Don approachs them, makes them sign a long-term contract that says their fights will be shown on tv. The boxers get their exposure. Now that they got more exposure there is more money for their fights. But they have to stick with Don because of the contract. In the contract it basicly says if you make it "big time" most money will go to Don King for his work. The boxer basicly makes 1/5 of what they could have made if he went with a decent other promoter like Arum.

in the tyson movie, tyson says "hed murder his own mother for a dollar" which is king in a nutshell
