Comments Thread For: Arthur Abraham Says Carl Froch Fight Will Be in London

Unbeaten super middleweight contender Arthur Abraham is preparing his battle with Andre Dirrell on March 6 in California. Abraham-Dirrell is the first fight in Showtime's second stage of the Super Six tournament. Win or lose, Abraham's opponent in the third stage is WBC champion Carl Froch, who faces Mikkel Kessler on April 17 in Denmark.

Out of the super six, Abraham is the only boxer capable of knocking Froch out. Froch doesn't have a great defence or great movement, and Abraham is willing to bide his time to land the right shot at the right moment. However, Froch is relentless, and will use everything within his power to pressure Abraham, and become the first fighter to beat him. It's a great fight. And my second favourite potential matchup behind, Kessler - Froch.

froch's chin is overrated, if dirrell can hurt him, then the others can stop him

I wonder if AA will amke any fans if he does beat Froch. seems like the UK has elected Carl the next big thing instead of Khan. I eagerly await AA's KO of Fraudch

Nah man, Froch is not that popular here outside of Nottingham.

It would be awesome if Froch got ko'ed 2 times in a row, which failures would result in him being dumped out of the tournament.

And yes, his chin is overrated. Dropped by Taylor, hurt by somewhat featherfisted Dirrell, Froch's chin and his zero have got to go when he faces Kessler and Abraham.
