Whether Pacquiao is on PEDs or not, that is still debatable! I don't believe Pacquiao is using any PEDs!
But the the point is if Floyd really believes in his skills and talent that he can beat Pacquiao, he should have not asked for that ridiculous clause for the fight! What is he afraid of about Pacquiao? PEDs?? Whether Pacquiao is taking PEDs or not, he still has a very good chance of beating Pacquiao! Previously, he has been saying along that "Pacquiao is too small for him...Pacquiao is way overrated...Pacquiao has suffered 3 losses in his career and therefore can be easily beaten by someone like him...etc."
Why is Clottey fighting Pacquiao now, with all this PED allegations on Pacquiao? Is Clottey not afraid that he will be destroyed Pacquiao? The answer is NO, Clottey is not afraid, BUT FLOYD IS!!
My opinion is that whether Pacquiao is on PEDs or not, Floyd has more skills than any other boxer in this world to beat Pacquiao!! It's just that, HE IS AFRAID! He just doesn't believe in his skills!

Likewise, Pacquiao cannot enforce anything as far as weights, boxing gloves...etc...but it can be agreed upon.
The agreement/s IS the middle ground and thus there is no middle ground established. Stipulations from a "challenger" to a "champion" can be best viewed as unrealistic.
Pacquiao calls the shots and he can do away with anything as long as he isn't called upon by the NSCA.
Name one guy who makes Manny more money than Floyd, until then he cannot "call exclusively" all shots with someone who makes him more money. If that is his attitude,he will always be fighting boxers who are obsolete in PPV eyes...Last edited by damned1974; 02-09-2010, 09:07 AM.

This is reality. Pacquiao is THE boxer now.
But yet, to accuse someone with an unblemished record is ridiculous. As in any court of law, no one's complaint cannot be taken seriously unless there are proofs while having the credibility.
Mayweather doesn't have any of both either. Sorry.Last edited by fabie; 02-09-2010, 09:19 AM.

The only difference is Oscar,Cotto, and Hatton finally caved in during negotiations, but it does NOT change the fact that Manny (as a challenger) believed it was ok to place his own demands that you condemn Floyd for doing (since he is now a challenger).
This is the reality-Floyd makes Pac the most money today. If the fighter who makes you the most money has a request-simply compromise-don't make every excuse under the sun (from phobias, superstitions,to pride, etc).
It will be interesting to see if Pac will accept the lower end of the purse when Floyd/Shane outsells Manny/Clottey and if Floyd also takes the belt-once Floyd holds the belt he will be in legitimate standing to have a simple request met in your eyes,eh???? After all,he will no longer be a challenger as you say.Last edited by damned1974; 02-09-2010, 09:40 AM.

The question is: will Floyd take that fight on Pacquiao's 24-day limit, even with a lower purse on the part of Pacquiao?

If Floyd has more demands than he previously had (such as random testing with a 14 day cut-off, and more money) I would not blame him.He has been in bigger PPV's than Manny and will have a belt if he beats Mosely-who is viewed by the majority as the best welter at the moment,as he beat the "man" who beat the "man",to top this off,it will be interesting to see the new pound for pound ratings if Floyd beats Shane as Floyd may be seen as number 1 on the list.
To anyone's logic that should get some of his requests met,eh? Don't be surprised if Manny doesn't budge with his own demands though....Last edited by damned1974; 02-09-2010, 10:24 AM.

The only reason there was a 24 day limit instead of 14 is because Pacquiao was shown in a video getting blood taken out for the Hatton fight.Essentially, they knew he would be discredited for saying a longer timeframe than that.He was saving face....
