Very good matchup, I bet Abraham is the strong favorite but Dirrell is a live underdog. If Dirrell can withstand the chin check and the heart check he would have a good chance.

lol Abraham is slow as balls and durrell goes side to side spins you around and is much taller and rangier than abraham.. froch was a similar size..

Dirrell UD I see abraham getting very frustrated and losing on activity dirrell will not be in front of him when he unleashes his 3 punch flurries which occur once or twice every round.

abraham is fast compared to froch, who caught dirrell a few times
plus he has more power than froch

this is no certainty for either guy

I got AA on points. I think this will be a technical fight,It will be competitive, but reckon a clear, but close UD.

true but he has fought plenty of guys with the height and reach advantage and still managed to take them out (although i admit he has never fought anybody with dirrells speed, but you could reverse it and say dirrell has never fought anybody with the power AA has)

thats why its such an intriguing style match-up

I favor Dirrell to run his way to a 12 round U.D. Partly because its in California and partly because certain people want to see a "make up" call for Dirrell because they feel he was robbed in his last fight.

The fight will be boring unless Abraham comes out and puts on a lot of pressure. He won't be able to high guard his way into counterpunches against a pure counterpuncher.

I'm not looking forward to it at all.

Abraham will need a KO to win, he can't win on the scorecards in California even if he dominates.

The California Boxing Commission referee will likely allow Dirrell to headbutt, hold, rabbit punch and run as much as he wants to.

But I'm hoping Abraham will catch him with a good punch and knock him out.
