Floyd is one the greatest who never was.

He is not a fighter because he's never had the mentality of just going out there a putting it all on the line. His precious "0" is getting in the way.

That's why it's good to lose at least once in your career (all the ATG's have lost ), because that'll make a fighter soul search , dig deep, and bounce back to greater challenges without having to be fearful of losing it for the first time.

Floyd is an incredibly skilled boxer, no doubt, but his love of "0" is getting in the way of just going out there and having a warrior's heart and mentality, which is what ATG's are known for.

His career has been as much a circus as it was about success.

he never fails to belittle and degrade his opponents ("...what, you mean Mosley, the one with 5 losses !!?")

but expects the world to give him props for his victories...

having the greatest skill set doesnt equal G.O.A.T. You have to have the resume to go along with it.

derrick coleman had a great skill set but he fell quite short in accomplishments.

Roy jones has great athleticism, flawed fundamentally, didnt necessarily fight the best once he became p4p king, not ATG resume.

Mayweather has great athleticism, great fundamentals didnt necessarily fight the best once he became p4p king, awfully boring fights, a little light on the resume compared to ATGs.

Pac has great athleticism, might be flawed fundamentally, not the greatest defensive fighter, but always fought the best & captivated the audience with exciting dominant wins & a ATG resume.
