I guess those rectangular shaped, colorful, material things that fans bring to fights are just towels.

valero doesnt need the lightweight division.
he should definitely look to move to 140.
i also read that he's already having trouble making 135.

Caveman beat down pitalua and de marco who were top 10 lightweight when he fought them. Now old man bob wants him to take on bradley for the wbc title, Easy as that.

War Caveman!! Bradley gonna get beatdown like he stole valero's brontosaurus burger!!

The point is that he hasn't fought any. Coulda woulda is what the worst Mayweather fans are guilty of. I agree with the OP, Valero needs to fight a top Lightweight.

Unfortunately, Marquez has shown no interest if fighting Valero, or even in returning to Lightweight at all. But a win over Funeka, Katsidis or Reyes would give a much better idea of where Valero is really at.

The Ring should ask Marquez to relinquish his Ring belt, IMO, given that he's shown no willingness to defend it. One money fight at Welterweight was okay, but he's fighting Khan next, FFS.

If Marquez gave up his title, Valero-Katsidis could be for the Ring belt and for the lineal title.

He also destroyed the durable Pitula who was ranked in the top 10 in only 2rds...
