Beating Juan Diaz right now doesn't mean much, seems like a waste fo time. Why don't you try your first 140 fight against someone like Malignaggi or Zab Judah who at least have a chance to beat you. You don't need a Texas fighter to fight in Texas.

Juan Diaz won't be looking to fight @ 140 again anytime soon. He's not that big and his last fight didn't work out so well. Why would he considering the success he's had at 135? Why not just try to make the fight at 135?

Diaz vs Valero id like to see. I think he should avoid Bradley for a little while yet.

Come on Bob. I was getting my hopes up when you mentioned Bradley as an opponent for Valero. Why Diaz FFS? That fight is such a garbage match up it's not even funny. It's like Arum wants to kill Valero's momentum by throwing him in an anti-climatic fight with a powerless washed up fighter like that who doesn't have his heart in it anymore. Valero-Bradley would be a sick fight and exciting even if Valero lost. Why don't Arum stick to his word?

I think Diaz deserves one last throw of the dice, but Valero will tear him to pieces.

How so? His record should be 0-3 in his last three fights. There are way more deserving fighters out there right now. I would rather see Valero fight someone like Funeka for the ring title or something. Who's #2 behind Valero right now? I think it is Funeka. I don't have a problem with Valero moving to 140. But he should fight Bradley if he's going to.

                Another fighter afraid of Bradley!!!!

Bob Said he wanted Valero to fight Bradley but Edwin said he wants to fight Diaz, wow Bradley is like the boogie man to these cowards, but at the same time i can't blame Valero or anyone else because i've been telling people about Bradley for a while now.Just like Teddy Atlas said Bradley is atleast top 3 pound for pound in the world, Mark my words ain't nobody messin with Bradley and that includes Mayweather Mosley and Pacquiao.Bradley may be the only fighter that can beat PBF

let valero get his feet wet at 140 before you throw him into the deep end. you guys are so impatient.
i wouldnt mind seeing valero fight a gatekeeper at 140 (like edner cherry). get him more exposure and build his rep, THEN look for the cream of the crop.

he needs to dump that belt and forget about the LW division though. its weak as hell.
