Stepping up? You gotta be kidding me. The best win on Lopez's resume is Ponce De Leon who Caballero already dominated in a one-sided fight. Penalosa was too old and small and Luevano just flat out ******. No pop, not fast enough to get out of the way of punches. Had a weak chin and Terdsak Jandeang came close to beating him. Gamboa just KOd a guy who would've beaten Lopez in a 15 round fight and maybe could beat him in a rematch (I said it). Lopez has got a lot to prove to me because when I take a look at Gamboa and Lopez's resume, they are not that far apart and Lopez has had more fights.

I love it how Ricans say oh Caba isn't known enough, Caba isn't the draw, he has to wait, the funny thing is that these are the same Ricans that WERE BITCHING AND MOANING about Mayweather not fighting Cotto....so Mayweather is a ***** for not fighting Cotto, but its ok for Juanma to do the same thing? Juanma is the BIGGEST ***** to come out of the island and he has you guys fooled and the sad thing you guys think he is the ****....and this is the guy Tito wants to pass the torch to, but just because Cotto didn't want to be compared to him he didn't get it? I call bull****, Cotto is a perfect example of how to be a GREAT boxer, sure he ducked Williams and a Margarito rematch (I suggest prove he cheated and beat the **** out of him, don't give me the bull**** excuse that he doesn't deserve **** from Cotto, cause Cotto needs to SHUT EVERYONE up by showing it was a fluke) but other then that he fought mostly the best in his division and didn't talk **** doing it like Juanma is.
BTW if Gamboa and Juanma do indeed fight, something tells me Gamboa will put that ****** to sleep, Lopez being the better technical boxer still gets hit WAY to much and is slower than Gamboa, I believe at 126 they both have the same pop, and if Gamboa boxes patiently and uses his reflexes and speed with a little better defense than he has now, I see him KNOCKING OUT LOPEZ in 5-8 rds.Comment

JML is looking more like pacq everyday. he ducks caba but the guy he is suppose to be fighting in a mega bout 10 yrs from now may step right in and take him on in half the pro fights? Not to mention the same guy destroyed the guy he went life and death with.

Because Arum took the time and spent a hell of a lot of his own money to make Lopez into a HBO headline fighter. Lopez sells 10k seats in PR and Sells out MSG theater.
Has ever even been on HBO? Has ever been the A-Fighter of a main event?
The truth is, Arum spends a lot getting his fighters fights and exposure. Those ****ty PPV's cost money out of his pocket and he sure as hell isnt profiting on all of those.
Other promoters need to step their game up. They try to go the easy way by calling out the biggest money fights there are. It doesn't work like that. It took a lot of time, work, $ for the top money fighters to get to where they are.Comment

Juanma needs to man up and fight Caballero, I would like to look at Juanma in the same light as Tito one day but at this point I dont see how people say he is the next Trinidad,First he must surpass Cotto and to do that he must fight the best at his weight including Caballero (which I think he can beat).Juanma has some power but his mayor flaw I see in him is that he wants to KO everyone in the first few rounds and eventually he will run into someone that will outlast his rush and knock him out late in the fight.I want Juanma to do good but he needs to review his last few fights and learn from them.Comment
