I'd rather see Katsidis take on Guerrero, but he obviously wants to avenge the loss.

Both guys have taken tremendous punishment since their fight, so a second would be pretty competitive in my opinion. Katsidis doesn't change his style at all, so if Diaz fights a similar fight to the first he should win a rematch. A loss in this fight to Diaz, should call an end to his career.

Their first fight was sold out to be another B.A.D. classic ala Tua-Ibeabuchi at 135lbs but it never lived up to most people's expectations. I know Kats wasn't his normal self in that fight, could of been an off night but I understand he feels the need to avenge his loss but this fight doesn't have the same appeal as it did before, a fight with Guerrero is the more obvious fight I think.

i dont understand this move by kat. he's headlining on a hbo card, and is willing to piss it away for a juan diaz rematch. he's been on a roll lately and who knows, maybe he beats RG. i think the RG fight will be a tough one for him to win, but if he loses to JD again he losses all the momentum and potencial large fight purses in the future w/ hbo. dont do it kat.

Katsidis is funny,"I will put all I have achieved on the line".What has he achieved?Don't let anyone fool you, team Katsidis NEEDS this rematch a LOT MORE.I havn't seen Katsidis (the new Gatti my a**,minus Arturo's power and chin) on HBO since. for someone touted as an all action fighter,after a 37 year old lighthitting Casamayor bludeoned him over 9 ,team Katsidis lost faith in Michaels chin,hence the way Katsidis HELD ALL FIGHT against Diaz the first fight.It was pathetic(go rewatch the fight).For a fighter not known for his power like Juan Diaz,Katsidis acted like he was in with Valero the way he held ALL FIGHT.All action against the old guys ,ALL HOLDING against the dangerous.Katsidis power = overrated,Katsidis chin= overrated.I'll give Katsidis this,he has a TON of heart,and a pretty good right hand,but no left and a chin that is highly overrated and suspect .

I'll give ANY opinion that I BELIEVE is true.Katsidis HAS A WAEK CHIN and his POWER is OVERRATED thats whAT i BELEIVE.I'm just not buying into this hype that Katsaidis has arock for abeard and this one punch concussive power.If that was really the case why would he hold ALL FIGHT against Diaz and why did Cassamayor drop him 3 times and almost stop him in the first.Now your probably going to tell me Casamayor is amonster puncher right?To change the subject,man I was IMPRESSED with Valero,that cut on his forehead was to the bone and he didn't even blink or let it bother him in the least he earned my respect last night.

At 135lbs this is a fight all boxing fans should wish to see. Diaz and Kastidis are good boxers and like to come forward and be the aggressor. Yes Diaz lost his last (2) fights to malignaggi but lets not forget that was at 140lbs. I think at 135lbs Diaz is a strong opponent and will take a good fighter to beat him at 135lbs. Im going for Diaz by KO late on
