Why? Does not mean that if they pick different from yours, it is not sensible.

There are no bashing here in the responses.

I favor Floyd 60/40 but prime Mosley is a beast at 135 and a great fighter at 147. Floyd could potshot his way to victory at both weights but if this fights at 135 wherein he likes to exchange more and take risk, Mosley would have a bigger chance of defeating Floyd. IMO, he is more athletic than Floyd just not as good in the thinking department plus he is not also that good in adjusting.

Floyd could NEVER pot shot a prime Mosley, at 135 or 147. In his prime at those weights Shane was just as fast as Floyd, especially at 147.

On another note, I personally don't think either is in their prime right now. Mayweather's prime was 130-140 and Mosley's was 135 and MAYBE part of 147 (depends on when he started using steroids). I think Mayweather-Mosley would be great at 135.
those fights were back when mosely and hoya were in thier primes.....hoya was doing floyd good in the early rounds until he gassed out , years later.....at 135, if floyd stands infront of shane like he did vs agustus, he would'nt last 6 rounds with shane....

A lot of people underrated Prime Mosley here. Mosley was no Castillo at 135, nor was he a Zab Judah or Ricky Hatton at 147. Mayweather has never seen anything close to a prime Mosley.

IMO, he could. He has underrated power at those weights. Mosley at 135 was a come forward fighter that rarely used angles. Relied heavily on his superior speed and power. If he has a not so good defense now, he has very bad defense at those weights. Floyd can probably match his speed and nullify his power by potshotting at the exact moment that Shane would come forward. Snapping his momentum and making him tentative. Shane does not have the best of technique when moving in. This is the scenario I envision.

This question will be a lot easier to answer after they've fought.

If Mosley beats Floyd in 2010, then I guess I'd say he'd have done it in his prime, too....
