Comments Thread For: Timothy Bradley-Edwin Valero, Arum Eyes The Fight

BoxingScene.com spoke with Top Rank CEO Bob Arum about the future of WBC lightweight champion Edwin Valero. The unbeaten puncher from Venezuela made a successful defense of his title on Saturday night in Monterrey, Mexico. Before a hostile Mexcian crowd, Valero, with a huge gash on the right side of his head, dominated interim-champion Antonio DeMarco for nine rounds. DeMarco's corner stopped the fight before the start of the tenth. [Click Here To Read More]

The good thing about this is that even if Valero can't get his visa, Bradley is willing to fight out of the country...

Arum aint messing around with this guy's career like he is with some of his other fighters that he protects like Juan Ma, Donaire, and Soto. This tells you what a good fighter Valero is. And I'd love to see a Bradley-Valero fight. I mentioned this earlier, but I don't think a Valero-JMM fight will ever happen because Arum and Oscar hate each other and JMM views it as a dangerous fight with little upside. Shaw and Arum get along with each other better even though they still don't really like each other. Lol.

                    I got Bradley to win.

The guy has serious skills. He is the man at 140.
