    I've always wondered why Boxing matches are on PPV

    can anyone tell me?
    i mean the superbowl and the nba finals are free...'
    its sorta the same thing when we get one of those big boxing match ups
    but yea anyone have an answer?

    NFL and NBA Players already make millions.

    Boxers have to have people see them to make millions.

      So Boxers, Promoters etc can get paid those big $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

        Corporate sponsorship is not there for boxing.

        PPV has been around for many many years back to Ali's days.


        Fighters won't fight just for a part of a live gate anymore.

        It's really the only outlet in the U.S because there isn't corporate sponsorship and no network tv time slots.
