I thought DeMarco's counter punching would be a factor but Valero was just throwing too many punches. DeMarco did not engage like he should have, I think he was waiting for Valero to slow down or tire out but it didn't happen and he was so far behind on the cards that he had no chance. DeMarco could have just traded with Valero but like has been said before, he was gunshy. Valero has good power, speed, and movement but I think JMM would have a good shot but with all the moving up in weight, I don't think he would be the same guy anymore. Katsidis would make a really good fight, a slugfest for sure and two warriors to the t.

I disagree. A veteran counterpuncher like JMM would ice him. DeMarco just looked like he didn't show up at all.

he showed up, but when he started eating valero's shots everything changed. valero is the real deal i think. i like his chances against anyone in his weight ranges. he brings a great excitement, and killer, never quit genre to the sport. blood and guts. i'm pumped that he has arrived! the guy made me an instant fan last night.

He got off a lot quicker than DeMarco and got away before DeMarco could counter although he was welcoming DeMarco to trade.

He's not the most sophisticated guy out there, but he's not going to run from anyone.

valero won me over as a fan yesterday, cuz i have only seen youtube clips of him but the guy could be big, i just hope he sharpens his defense a lil
