Comments Thread For: Adamek-Estrada Live Review, Arreola's Trainer Speaks

By Ryan ******** - With an April 24 showdown with Chris Arreola on HBO waiting for him with a win, Tomasz Adamek had a lot to lose as he approached his 12 round clash with former 2004 Olympian Jason Estrada at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ.

In front of 10,123 mostly Polish fans on hand to support the former light-heavyweight and cruiserweight champion Adamek, a native of Gilowice, Poland now residing in Jersey City, NJ, showed he wasn't overlooking the task at hand as he outworked Estrada to a competitive but clear unanimous decision win. It was Adamek's second win at heavyweight, following a domination of Andrew Golota in October. [Click Here To Read More]

Arreola can KO Ademek, but the fact that he trains on beer and eats everything on the menu make him a long shot to do much better. Should Ademek win, people will belittle the achievement for the same reason. Why even fight Arreola? Too little to gain and too much to lose.

I don't think Adamek can beat Chris Arreola, but if he does then he will automatically place himself among the top contenders to Haye and the Klitschkos.

Plus he will be looked on as being able to deal with legit heavyweight punchers.

If Arreola is in "better shape", improves his conditioning, and his boxing technique, then Arreola should win. If not, it will be a long night for Arreola.
