Too bad they couldn't get somebody other than Ronnie to write about this. (are there no writers in Japan?) Would like to know more about the fight, as opposed to Ronnie writing about Kameda's Filipino sparring ahead of time. Hope boxingscene didn't pay for this "report" -

Why are you people reading Ronnie's works before complaining? It's just like you hate the brand in the very first place yet you always consumed first its products before complaining! Are you fool???!!!

I watched the fight this morning.
It was horrible.
Kameda won, Kaochavit got tired in the fourth round.
And just clinched like hell.
It was really disappointing.
Koziumi basically said the same, only he was probably more negative than I am being right now.
The weird thing is Kameda never really had Denkaosen that hurt, it just seemed like he was out of shape.Comment

But that's basically what Kaovichit did in the first fight.
To be honest, I don't know where he goes from here.....Comment

I suppose he can always knock out Sakata again.
He's kind of an infuriating fighter. He shows knockout power at times, then other times just fades.
At least guys like Poon or Somsak and Wongjongkarm brought it 99% of the time.
What kills me if Kaochavit is probably as talented as any of those guys and has more power than his ko percentage indicates, then ****s it up when he could make himself a name.
Koki Kameda is the good Kameda. He could unify fly the way he fought his last fight. and I say that begrudingly, because I am not a fan of the Kameda's.
Daiki is fine though and deserved the win.Comment

It was a pretty ugly fight, Kameda's youth won him the fight similar to how Koki's youth carried him over Naito except Daiki isn't as good as Koki and Koki-Naito was a much better fight than Daiki-Kaovichit. Kaovichit has been looking pretty shopworn, he's been showing signs of aging in his last 2 fights.Comment

Yeah, Poon has really grown on me, and Somsak's fight with Monshipour is really underrated. Somsak is like Sahaprom, they shouldn't be fighting anymore. Wonjongkam, I wish he did more with his career, TBH.I suppose he can always knock out Sakata again.

Yeah, Koki is better than Daiki, but I think Tomoki has the potential to really surpass them. I really wanted Kaovichit to win because I don't think we'll have any unification fights at 112 now.Comment
