The irony of golden boy promotions...

ill begin by saying normally i like golden boy fighters and dislike arum fighters, with many exceptions of course. i also think golden boy gets ripped all too often while arum is given a free pass. but heres my problem with golden boy.

they say pacquiao is on steroids.
alex ariza acknowledges that he gives amir khan the exact same things as he gives pacquiao. therefore they must think amir khan is on steroids, but they have no problem selling out jmm to amir khan.

if i was jmm's manager there is no chance i would fight amir without random blood tests. if golden boy cares about cleaning up the sport, they should say look amir is clean its only pac who is taking these illegal supplements. however they don't care.

i just don't understand how they can avoid pacquiao because of that reason yet feed their fighters to amir khan who is on the exact same things as pacquiao.

Totally agree. It's why as long as promoters and networks run the show, we'll never see any real change in the sport.

Khan ain't proven yet he's on steroids. However, it is GBP's prerogative to offer Khan a contract with them, that means they would have refused to do it in the first place. GBP's acts only as Khan's promoter, not running Team Khan.
