Can I also point out that the injuries that Toney has sustained the last year are very consistent with steroid abuse.

Also ***** **** as Anorak likes to call them are a side effect of Steroid use.

Also the constant sweating and jumpiness that Toney displayed in his pre-fight conference could be attributed to Steroids.

I have been questioning whether Toney was on Roids for a long time now. I can dig up posts if you don't believe me. I just was hoping it wasn't true.

        Good observations you got..

That's the most telling clue that this has been a long-term thing, and not just some mistake his doctor supposedly made a few weeks before the fight, or something.

The ignorance excuse is always bull****. I mean, if you're a pro athlete, are you telling me that you're not going to ask a few questions when doctors start injecting you with "mystery" substances?

Clever title for the article, btw.

Nandrolone is really an old school roid and has been around (and in use) way before Eastern europeans started breaking world records. Most sports commissions are aware of its existence and it would be pretty ****** to use it as most testing centers are well-equipped to detect it.

Corollary to this, Toney might say that using Nandrolone would be too obvious (and foolish) and that if ever he would use performance enhancing-drugs, he would use something else instead of nandrolone.

Im with you Joe on speculating that Toney was on roids for a while...Most notable during the booker fight, it seems so out there considering he was in horrible condition and the general public thinks steroids make you big and ripped. This is a perfect example that isnt the case.

He should have stayed on whatever he was on during the Booker fight.

Correct it is as easy as detecting a pulse in someones body. It is tested during every drug test, I would like to know what Toney was thinking really.

The NYSAC committion is corrupt and apprently has a grude against Toney. If I were Toney I would never fight in New York again. This is going to come down to Toney's and Don King's Lawyers vs the NYSAC lawyers. Toney wont give up the belt without a fight outside the ring this time. He has to fight twice for it because he is a true champ.
