Adamek & Haye Comparison & Reality Check For The Adamek Criticizers

First off i'm not saying that it is unfair to have doubt or criticizm about Adamek as a HW, i just want to point out the hypocrisy of some of the people on here.

    Size
    Adamek 6'2 - 6'3. 220lbs
    Haye 6'3 - 215 & 217 in his last 2 fights

    Punching Power
I imagine Haye has a bit more raw power but Adamek isn't far off. Adamek though also has great accuracy and timing especially with his right cross, Haye on the other hand as Larry Merchant would say "Comes from the old school of swing hard in case you hit something"

    Handspeed
    same

    Defense
Both can be hit but i think Adamek is more sound with his footwork, slipping, catching etc than Haye.

    Chins
Most would bring up the 1 KD in the Second Briggs fight. Adamek was caught with a left hook he didn't see, got right up, had a clear head and was fine.

Haye was hurt by SMW Mock and legitimatly hurt, looked drunk. And has certainly been down more than just the once.

Adamek took a few clean rights from Golota, Estrada, Banks (has HW power) and was never down. Better than getting dropped by Barrett more than once.

    Their CW Career Wins.
    Bell
    Cunningham
    Banks
    VS
    Frag
    Mormeck
    Gurov
    Macca

    Best wins at CW
There best wins were Cunningham and Mormeck. Both equally impressive for different reason as both would present a style that would seem to be a worst matchup scenario.

movement, handspeed, and a naturally athletic guy is seen as a worst case matchup for Adamek, a puncher for Haye. Both came out on top.

Macca always ****** balls and the rest pretty much are a wash.

Haye accomplished this from the start of his career in 02, took 6 years. Adamek accomplished just about as much in 1 1/2 years. Haye was not "Undisputed" and did not clear out the division so stop acting like he has nothing left to prove there yet Adamek does.

Now the whole point to this is for the people who act like Haye is the Savior of the HW division and is destined to KO both Klitschko's.

Some of these same people will turn around and say Adamek needs to go back down to CW because he might not be as strong or be able to take a clean shot from a 240-250 LB HW. Asking this about both Adamek and Haye is legit, just keep it consistant.

Bro Adamek did not look good tonight.

If that was Haye he was in there with he wouldve got KO'd about round 7.

He completely schooled Estrada...hows is that not looking good? Because he didn't KO a guy who has never been stopped in the amature or as a pro? I don't think Haye could KO Adamek in the mid rds...did you watch the fight tonight. Mid rds he was coasting and schoolin

Dont get it twisted I like Adamek. I just dont see him being ready for a Haye or Arreolla yet. Not yet. He needs some more fights at Heavy.

Fair enough...but I think you are wrong about Arreola...I think he could fight him next and win, but w/Haye I think he needs some more bouts

Put it this way...what do think Adamek would have done to Minto? He would have made him look silly!

Styles makes fights though. How do you think Adamek does against Vital?? Goes both ways. I was expecting fireworks form him hopefully we see Adamek let go of his hands more as he gets used to the weight.

Well he wouldn't let Vitaly tee-off on him thats for sure. Don't get me wrong. I love watching Arreola, but he is so one dimensional. I honestly think that fight will go like the O'neil Bell fight! Completely schooled

His handspeed is top notch and when he threw in combos tonight he looked great but didn't do it as much as he should have. He'll definitley need to let his hands go to get some of Arreola's pressure off him and earn his respect when they fight.
