I like this place but to expect serious discussions about match-ups, skills, technique, etc. for more than 1% of the posts is ridiculous. I really don't have much boxing knowledge because I've never done it and I haven't been a fan for very long, but I love watching it and I love discussing it. Am I insightful? Not really...

We get this **** every week from these noobs. Every time an up and coming fighter has a good night these dumbass ***s are all over the guy crowing him the next legend. Last week was Gamboa, this week Valero, next week it'll be someone else.

isnt getting out of hand at all. tonight Valero proved he is what you say he is. pretty much a ****in maniac in the ring with raw power. he still has a couple great fights at lightweight before he moves up. Funeka, Guzman, JMM, and Katsidis. IMPRESSIVE! i thought for sure the fight was going to be stopped after the elbow. Also, i thought it looked like DeMarco was going to expose Valero early on, but round after round this man just pressed on. they said DeMarco was the one who got better as the fight goes on, but Valero dominated. He's the real deal.

some complain about how everyone jumps on some fighters nuts after a big win, and i agree....as far as i know i think there was myself and like half a dozen other dudes on here who thought Ward was going to whoop Kessler's ass. Same with Abraham knocking out Taylor. but if you read the threads post fight you wouldnt even know. you'd think both fighters had blogs dedicated to them. im not jumping on Valero's nuts but you have to admit there is something really special about having a record of 27 wins with 27 tko/ko's. that's ****ing awesome.
