I watched the fight with a bunch of people and all the women said that Valero looked "scary". There was a primal mystique about him tonight. He looked extremely nervous coming out but once in the fight he channeled it into extreme intensity.

I think DeMarco saw this too and a part of him was neutralized by it.

Some literally turned away from the tv when Valero started bleeding saying that he looked like too much of an animal.
