    What a weird fight.

I did not expect DeMarco to behave that way at all. I'm very disappointed in the way he fought tonight.

The weirdest thing is that he seemed to be able to take Valero's punches pretty damn well, yet he didn't let his hands go AT ALL!!!

I was stunned by his lackadaisical performance. But.

He's still my main man, I won't write him off just yet. Poor kid just didn't look ready tonight.

Well played Jkaisen, Jreckoning, DonTaseMeBrah, Veteran 420 and Iantheman.

    Well played.

He fought like De La Hoya in the Pacquiao fight.

    He couldn't pull the trigger.

I think he knew he was in over his head. Valero just hits too damn hard he was scared to throw in fear of what was coming back.

Yup, the performance or lack thereof DeMarco put on tonight, I would of never thought I would see in my life. He said he had a plan A and plan B, **** he didn't have a plan at all, he just looked very hesitant to throw, even my wife who doesn't know DeMarco was telling me "why doesn't he throw any punches", he just looked lost in the ring, waaaaay overmatched, I honestly didn't expect this to happen, props to Valero he was the better fighter.

Props to you man for not acting like a punk like other fans are.

I think once Valero started landing that left. DeMarco felt that **** and it made him hesistant. DeMarco knew he was down on the cards he wanted to bull rush Valero I could tell he just knew it would not be smart.

I can't hate on Valero. I like fighters like him, but his Commie bull**** makes me root against him.

demarco was fighting a hard puncher that he was taller then what did you want him to do trade with valero all night long? demarco is still a solid young fighter he just fought someone better then him tonight its easy for us to talk about how he didnt throw cuz we didnt have those combos thrown with power at us like antonio did.

Dude I understand, I wasn't expecting DeMarco to go in there and trade bombs with him but at least use your jab more, he did good when he was pumping the jab and snapping Valero's head back, but it's like he totally just paralyzed after the 4th round. I know it's easy for us to play armchair boxers but I've seen DeMarco fight before and this was totally unlike him, or maybe Valero was just too much for him like most people agree.

                    I was disappointed too.

He started out strong, looked like he could handle Valero, then he started being cautious, then he just started getting outboxed and beat up.

I think what happened was Valero's power shook DeMarco up. DeMarco took the punches well, but those punches took the sap out of him.

Beyond that, DeMarco looked inexperienced against Valero. He was getting tagged with the straight left all night, and couldn't make adjustments.

I think he still has some potential in the division. Valero is just showing that he is the real deal, that was his best win by far.
