Kelly by KO. Sergio should stay at jr middle, because kelly is going to A. reduce his value and B. shorten his career. Bad fight for Martinez. He doesn't hit hard enough to discourage Kelly and kelly will wear him down like he did Rubio, only easier.

Not knowing the details I would call this a bad opponent for Pavlik at the moment. It will be an ugly fight against a fast, tough guy. Seems like he could put a deal together for Sturm, get paid more, get another belt and build himself up for an even bigger payday.

Here's a fun fight Arum could have made: Pavlik vs Chavez at middleweight. Big payday in the right venue. Pavlik destroys Chavez in less than 5 rounds though.

Let's not forget, a prime Jermain Taylor was quick and strong and had a decent chin, and look at what Pavlik did to him. I think Martinez will be the aggressor in the early rounds and might even drop Pavlik, but later in the fight the power will catch up with Martinez and he'll drop to the canvas a few times before his corner throws in the towel. I predict a 9th or 10th round TKO victory for Pavlik.

This is going to be a very good fight, stylistically this fight favors Martinez but Pavlik's power and size are great equalizers, especially if he can use them while applying some intense pressure.

If Paul Williams camp hadn't done so much talking out of their arse about Palik's infection & complications, they would have got this title shot. If I was Paul Williams I'd be pissed at my people. From Pavlik's perspective this is the best fight he can get considering Sturm is tied up in litigation.
