I think his boxing skill are very much overratted.

That was pretty much shown in the Martinez fight. Also, Paul jab is very soft, at some points, it's not a jab at all. He just sticks it out there. He has decent head movement, and that is about it. He still gets hit a ton with that.

Williams is nothing more than a volume puncher with a tad bit more speed than Margo, a good chin, and a freakish frame...

I really wish people would wake up about this guy.


P.S. When I say wake up, it's not that he isn't good, but folks are making him out to be something he clearly isn't.

First off, his jab isn't much. His workrate is nice, and he has decent speed. His head movement is OK (he still gets hit a ton).

Funny how you picked the second CQ fight, not the first.

And the Margo fight....Those examples favor Paul. Hugger type stuff.

Paul did not have a deep amature backround, and it show's. If you would have said "Paul has some decent boxing skills", hell I MIGHT agree.

The boxing skills of Paul Williams isn't why I'm a fan. I'm a fan because I like the guy's attitude. But I do agree he gets overrated by some people on here. I think if he wasn't confident he could beat Martinez in a rematch, his team wouldn't have given Martinez a good offer to fight him like they just did.

If he has boxing skills, then Margarito has them as well. Williams is just a taller and faster version of Margarito.
