  • Paul Williams boxing skills are SEVERLY underrated.

Watch how he plays counter puncher vs. Q in the re-match. That was a great adjustment by Williams team.

Watch the boxing skills he used vs. Margarito early. The jab, moved his head, circled Margarito. This dude will only get better.

But still, he takes a lot of punishment and doesn't even try to stop it. If you watch the Margarito, Quintana I and Martinez fights, they all hit him with hard, solid shots and he just kept coming forward. That's very brave but its not gonna win you rounds or fights all the time...And if he tried that against Pavlik he'd be sleeping after 6 or 7 rounds.

People don't realize Pauls skill, if he wanted to go in there and win boring fights, he easily could. He can work behind his jab all day if he really wanted. He has the tools to do it, but he gives fans a show. I give Paul mad props.

              Paul has decent boxing skills.

He showed he could box off the backfoot against Wright and Margarito also.

                I completely disagree!

I think his boxing skill are very much overratted.

That was pretty much shown in the Martinez fight. Also, Paul jab is very soft, at some points, it's not a jab at all. He just sticks it out there. He has decent head movement, and that is about it. He still gets hit a ton with that.

Williams is nothing more than a volume puncher with a tad bit more speed than Margo, a good chin, and a freakish frame...

I really wish people would wake up about this guy.

P.S. When I say wake up, it's not that he isn't good, but folks are making him out to be something he clearly isn't.

Two opponents that don't move that well. One stays in one spot, the other just comes foward...Bad examples...
