Paul Williams boxing skills are SEVERLY OVERRATED...

Some people seem to think of Paul Williams as a great boxer. He is not. Lost vs Quintana and the second was a fluke and refused a third bout. Vs Martinez was a robbery and refused a 2nd bout.

So what he lost. How many losses does Pac have? Who said he was a GREAT boxer?

He offered Martinez the rematch.

u buggin the 5th and 11th were the only clear rounds for margarito 1-4 were cotto and the rest could of went either way i would favor cotto in most rounds and cotto outlanded margarito in 7 of the 11 rounds

I said Margarito argueably won any round after the 5th which isn't wrong.

Margarito was ahead on two of the judges scorecards before the stoppage.

it's not ****** because williams reach is what gave margarito problems and their is no way for another fighter to gain reach and reach is also not considered as a boxing skill.
u take away floyd speed and he is still a great boxer because he is a great boxer the fact that he has the speed that he has is just a plus

if you judge the fight on clean punches cotto should of been the one up on th scorceard

Reason why I mentioned those 2 losses is because it is in those fights where he showed very limited skills and the inability to adjust. His ONLY game plan is to follow and throw punches in quan******. His jab is poor, his hook is poor, his uppercut is good and his resistance is great but he is still VERY limited as he showed in those two fights. What does Mitchell, Martinez and Quinatan have in common?

They are all lefties.

He knocked down Mitchell 4 times and stopped him.

Lost to Quintana.

Then KO'd him in the rematch in the first round.

Then beat Martinez.

Cotto landed the cleaner punches by far in the early rounds.

Midway through though, Margarito started landing his fair share of hard clean shots meanwhile forcing Cotto to constantly retreat. In my eyes, i'm not surprised they had Margarito ahead.
