I liked that interview. Basically what John David Jackson is saying is Pacquiao has only fought one kind of style and it's the truth.

The opponent's style seems to be to lay on the floor so I agree with you.

PAC isn't a good fighter inside. He likes distance (medium) to do his damage. He doesn't like for someone to hit him clean w/ out trying to retaliate regardless of the gameplan. If Clottey accidently head butts Pac and it causes a cut, Pac will not be the same fighter.

Pacquiao is a medium distance fighter, he can handle himself on the inside but he's nothing special

Pacqauio cannot fight inside against better boxers and thats one of the reason he was tagged and made to look like an amatuer in both the JMM fight but against face-first or stand in front of me kind of style he can fight on the inside just not in the pocket, If he choose to fight on the inside against people like Mayweather or Mosley he would get killed.

i can agree to some extent. most fighters he fought are sluggers, always going forward. Floyd would be the only exception cuz hes a defense first boxer, not a fighter.

He killed them from midrange, but not from phonebooth manuvering. Pacquiao is in and out, he has to be at a certain range, you take the fight to him shoulder to shoulder, hes not intelligent enough to know what to do, the problem is getting inside, because you have to get through his comfort range to get there, which is very difficult, but he is correct, on the inside, you can tie him up.

Pac also needs room to get off. Pac doesnt sit on the inside moving his head surgically dismantling people on the inside, thats not how he fights. he needs room.

He is not a good inside fighter. But he knows that which is why he sticks and moves. You gotta use your strenghts in order to win. People say Floyd runs but floyd stays in the pocket more then manny. Diffrence is manny throws more into his punches and moves away. Where floyd plays d and pot shots u. It's being smart on mannys part,you gotta give him credit for that

hes an okish inside fighter he darts in and out uses angles but doesn't really STAY in close quarters like a prime Castillo for example
