Mayweather is the best since Pernell Whitaker!!

I don't understand the ignorance of the some writers and boxing fans, some people say Mayweather is too defensive and doesn't make exciting fights but people forget the fights with Gatti, Judah, Chavez, Emanuel Burton, Mitchell, Ndou, Corrales, Manfredy, Hatton and Corley just to name a few and by the way almost all those fights ended in a Ko. Floyd has 40 fights and out of 40 there are only like 3 fights u can say were'nt that action pack, in that matter u can say the same about most fighters. In every sport in the world your objective is to score points and defend opponents from scoring points on u if a team has a great defense and offense they are considered a great team, Only in boxing when u have a great defense your considered a reluctant warrior in a sport where defense is more important then any other sport because your getting punched in the head.People who no nothing about boxing say Floyd runs from people, but he doesn't run he stays right in front of u or he'll lay on the ropes and whup on u .

So why is Shane fighting the smaller fighter and especially since Floyd STILL has no belt.

distance - mosley has longer reach but floyd is more agile (leg power). let's see if age did not have a factor on both.

This probably EXACTLY how Floyd wins this fight. He will be able to dictate distance enough to win the decision, although it will be due to speed, which is kind of downplayed here. Floyd is definitely the faster as far as footspeed between the two, and combined with his reflexes Mosley won't quite be able to match up.

Gotta say though, Floyd himself relies a lot on being the faster fighter than his opponent.

I think it will be interesting to see if Floyd can drop Shane. He always talks about him punching with his eyes closed and who better to time that and counter then Floyd.

If what Floyd has to offer is what he offered up against JMM he is in some trouble.....however i think he will be alot better than that night. Also big challenges bring out the best in Floyd Mayweather.

Floyd was cruising on the later rounds of that fight. And I agree about Floyd being able to raise his game when needed. He seems to able to asjust to his opponents.

Exactly my point. Floyd is going to use his strengths against Mosley. He's not going to stand in front of him like Marga did. And this is the reason why I believe Floyd will have an easy fight.
