I think you're paying to much attention to the rematch clause. I think it serves more as a comfort pill and a business decision knowing that even if he loses the first fight, he can do it again to make it right, and still get the Pac fight after.

In the other thread Floyd is saying he knew nothing about the rematch clause and its Shane that wanted it .

Like previously mentioned Floyd having a rematch clause helps him avoid fighting Pacquiao afterwards.(If he wants to)

Why? Because he's scared of losing a SD to Floyd? lol. Floyd not gonna know which hand KOed his ass when it's over.

Nah, sometimes these things are just indicative of a fighter's mindset heading into a fight. I could be making too much out of it but it's the way I see it.

And the signs leading up to the fight has me feeling that Mosley is hungrier for this fight than Mayweather.

Mosley just went through a divorce, split with his father as trainer, had a tough fight against Mayorga and lost to Cotto previously, was in an ongoing court battle against Balco in a steroids case and he still taxed Margaritos ass.

He always mentally ready when it comes to fight

i seriously think he did this to freeze out manny pacquiao win or lose. since mosley is aruably still the biggest money fight next to pacquiao if the fight is close or he loses.

                  but you are right.

one other thing we can both say is that we both agree there has been some matchmaking since 147, however there is nothing cherry picked about this fight, with that said, both you and me can breath easy for actually giving this guy the benefit of the doubt the last 2 years.

I don't think Floyd has ever been hungrier IMO. Things like the RA Rugged Man interview, Brian Kenny interview, etc. has shown that Floyd is mad about where he is perceived to be on the boxing scale. I think Floyd will train harder because he knows he's aging and he wants to show the world that he's the king even when he fights guys that are bigger than him.
