the problem is that these people contribute next to nothing. most of the topics are joke topics often rehashed, and since this board doesnt have much of a policy on that kind of thing, it gets redone over and over. take the floyd mayweather chicken sig, it was re-done about 20 times in one day.

then you get these idiots with these conspiracy theories, literally ANYTHING to make their guy look good.

also, on other sports messageboard, often times those people have been watching that sport and that team for literally years on top of years, most of these guys are teenagers whos only goal is to sukk one fighters ****.

someone posted last night "Floyd doesnt even care about the *****s who defend him!"

like hes supposed to care about me and the fact that i like him as a fighter. thats the kind of stannery this board gets.

to me, too many photoshops, too many BS topics, and you throw in the "examiner" and these so called journalists, i mean, getting mad that floyd took an extra two days to sign a contract.

one of my biggest issues is the fake news, when people are anticipating a big fight, and joke news topics flood the board, its not funny and i wish they would crack down on it or move it to the lounge.

thats the problem with this board, a bunch of unfunny morons getting by because as long as you sukk a popular fighters ****, youll get others who will agree with you while doing the same, lending you credibility no mattter how dumb you are. some of these guys back in 04/05/06 would be redded out like no tommorow, but not in todays NSB climate, where acting like a ****ing ****** is rewarded.

I think you misread the whole thing. I was clear that I was referring to boxing needing the fanboys, not NSB. Although I did make one joke about how NSB is surviving because of these types of fans.

No it doesn't. The **** posted in here is crazy sometimes. Not much talk about fights or even the fighters. Just rabid stans attacking each other. That would be alright if it stayed in the thunderdome but most of it gets done in here.

NSB might be "surviving" because of these types of fans, but if you havent noticed, the best posters seemed to be completely removed from this forum and its because moreso now than ever, every single thread is invaded by fanboys interested in doing nothing more but to discredit good fights. Instead of concentrating on their own fav fighters upcoming fight, they make literally thread after thread, page after page of photoshops, insults and ******ed retread jokes.

there is hardly any discussion anymore at all! its sickening the lengths people go through, around the clock to defend their favorite fighter.

NSB was good before, it had its diehards, but this...this is just nuts and i can honestly say, i dont enjoy this forum all that much and often times i just find myself whining in every thread in the few i even post in.

this forum is worse off because of fanboys, because they outnumber the good posters and good topics.

the only time this place is good is on fight nights, because then and only then, can we discuss actual boxing.

I was just rolling with the punches when I wrote this topic. I think things are evolving in the sport and I sometimes I feel like it's either the sport dies or we take in fanboys. I have no answer for it.

i havent been here long but......(sorry to state the obvious) ppl make threads on the same thing over n over again.how much can realy happen in the boxing world in 1 day? not very much. boxing moves slow, far to slow for the over excited prepubescent posters on this site. Please read the topic. It's not about fanboys in NSB but how boxing needs fanboys right now. It's not about NSB.
