I got a blood test done on me to check and see how my liver is doing, it was a standard little tube of blood. I sat down on the chair as he wrapped by arm up and I quickly thought "Pacquiao, blood tests". I decided to ask the guy some questions while the blood test was being performed. The conversation went like this...

Zarco: Hey would this blood test make some one weak if it was done a day before an event?

Nurse: No, you are good to go.

Zarco: Its not me it just that this big boxing fight fell off because one guy did'nt want to take random blood tests till the fight because he said it would make him weak.

Nurse: No no, what was the blood test for?

Zarco: Steroids

Nurse: Yea man that guy had something to hide


I felt perfectly fine after words too, Did any body else actually take the time to take a blood test and ask questions or see how you feel? Maybe you just happened to need a check up or something?

Thats a normal reaction for an unbiased bystander. I work in a hospital and I've asked the nurses here the same deal...they all have the same gut reaction and state he is hiding something adn these are people who don't follow boxing. The only ones that run to his rescue are the Pinoy nurses as they know right away what I'm talking about, big surprise!

I've got my blood drawn before and I always feel fine right after. Hell, I went out and skated(skateboarding) right after. I'm scared as **** of getting my blood drawn though. But does it make me weak? Nope.

Well the TS got a point but it's his, mine was different. The last time I went to have my blood drown was like 8 months ago, my experience was the worse, the guy who happened to draw blood on me is an experience nurse for 16 years yet he still cant target my veins, he inserts the needles 3 times. Now my question is how many days will it heal. If a boxer like Pacquiao trains very hard in the gym and experience the same, I think it will surely affects his training. Then what about during fight night, if they drew blood don't you guys think that for a fighter who exerted much power would rupture his veins.
Now tell me the answer experts, specially the *****s.
