I agree with you that Mosley was a very good fighter at 135, but posting a video of him beating a journeyman at 135 who has been knocked out so many times before doesn't indicate he will brutalize the likes of Castillo or Corrales. Its about who you beat, name the top 3 fighters Mosley faced in his lightweight defenses I posted in the previous post, and then compare them with Corrales or Castillo. Mosley would beat Corrales but the Castillo fight would be be competitive IMO. Castillo had a great chin in his prime, and is better than Phillip Holiday who gave Mosley a competitive fight. Holiday was a good fighter too, a 5'6 lightweight who fought fighters bigger than him yet was able to hold his own but Jose Luis Castillo is a better fighter than Holiday.

ironically, mosley and chico were real cool......i believe that ssm has some beef with pbf because of the way floyd treated chico leading up to that fight. no proof of this, just a hunch. but they were friends; even their wives were friends. I remember when chico died in the bike accident, ssm and his wife were really there for chico's wife.

This isn't about how Shane looked when he went up in weight.

Fighters change when they change weight classes.

If you look at how Pac is doing at WW by your logic he should have destroyed Marquez when they fought at lightweight.

I think he beats Castillo by UD in a War.

Shane loved to fight Mexican fighters.

But the Corrales(R.I.P) fight would be something special.

Who had more power at that weight?

Could Corrales survive into the late rounds?

Would Corrales try to use his reach?

Mosley's speed is most likely the X factor in this match-up.

I think he can stop Corrales and win a decision over Castillo
