I remember watching it when he kept spitting his mouth piece thinking "WTF is he doing". He conserved just enough energy to knock Castillo out.

Spitting the mouthpiece out was the only smart thing Corrales did the entire fight. Though the fight is a true classic, I think Corrales fought a ****** fight. Maybe its the only way he could fight but considering his height and reach advantage he could of used distance better.

Actually he fought the best possible fight he could have. Corrales doesn't have the greatest chin and if he fought at a distance he would have gotten knocked out just like in the second fight. By keeping close he smothered Castillo's power.

The second fight Corrales was trying to make it a phone booth fight again but Castillo turned boxer and ****ed him up when he was coming in. He used the same leaping left hook that Mayweather used to catch him.
