If it was a prime for prime fight at say 122' I'd favor Rafa by devastating knockout.

Given his age and ring wars, I'd say its a 50/50 fight w/ Lopez now. Lopez is so cuddled its a joke.
Agreed, prime for prime it would not even be a contest. However, Juanma is entering his prime now and is supposed to be at his best and fighting the best. So we'll have to see exactly how good he is, but based on where they are in relation to age Marquez was better even entering his prime. Given their current stage if they fought tomorrow you'd have to give Juanma the edge since he's not that bad, even more so if they fought after the Vazquez fight and it does indeed turn into a war.

A question I have is does anybody think that Vasquez skinned his boxing gloves in those second and third fights. I know that Gary Shaw and Rafael Marquez's camp brought it up and raised a fuss about it. But we know who worked Barrera's corner in his rematch with Rocky Juarez. It was Rudy Perez which is Vasquez's trainer.

you dont know boxing....this guys brawl skillfully....thats why their fights are so great, just like castillo-corrales, which was an infighting clinic, particularly by castillo....

I don't believe these two guys will still be breathing after a forth fight. I think they will end up ruining each other. It's fantastic for the fans, but it must take an awful lot out of them.

I think I would cry if I one of them gets knocked out. Particularly, Marquez.

Marquez should win this one. He's much more skilled, but his biggest problem is that he's a crowd pleaser, and that will cause him to go toe to toe which favours Izzy.

They've taken so much out of each other, that I think it would be unfair to throw the winner to guys entering their primes such as Juanma. I understand Lopez has been recieving harsh critism lately, but people shouldn't get it twisted.....Rafa and Izzy are too far gone to compete with the elite. A fourth encounter will only leave them worse.

Rafa has been one of my favourite fighters of all-time and I wish both men luck. I have so much respect for these two men.

after this fight,i'm going to really have to consider if i'll be able to give credit to anyone who beats these guys, they've already taken so much from each other, its almost not fair to credit anyone else,I'm anxious for this fight, but after this i think they are both done as far as still being well enough to continue and win belts, hopefully i'm wrong
