    Mayweather undoubtely rises back...

to P4P NO:1 once he beats Mosley.

LOGIC 1:....He beat DLH, HATTON before Pacman did
LOGIC 2:....Both Pac and Mayweather are official welters...The acknowledged top welter is Shane Mosley, not Cotto. Pac beat Cotto...However is Mayweather beats Mosley...He has outdone Pac clearly.

Regardless of the split decision win for Cotto against Mosley...Mosley is considered top dog in that division now, since he capped Cotto's conqueror, Margacheato in fine style.

    PAC BEATS........Diaz, DLH, Hatton, Cotto
MONEY BEATS...Gatti, DLH, Hatton, Marquez and if he gets by Mosley...well

    that's what i mean.

P4P ain't important. Floyd should leapfrog Pac in the WW rankings if he beats Mosley though.

Just let history decide these two fighters' place in the list of greats. As for the P4P status, that'll be always be up for grabs. Depending on how Pacquiao and Mayweather perform on their next fights, we might even be shocked to find Mosley as P4P #1 if Clottey upsets Pacman and Mosley gives Mayweather a beatdown, who knows?

Mayweather was #1 P4P for three straight years before he took a break. That's the only reason why Pacquiao is number one. Obviously had he stayed in the game he would've been active enough to keep his spot.
