Trivia Question: Who was the OLDEST welterweight champion ever?

Before you answer listen to THIS SONG before you answer.

Hint: The answer is also one of the most inactive champions of any weight in the history of boxing.

    Answer: Shane Mosley

That's right, Mosley is the oldest has-been inactive needs to retire fighter ever to become welterweight champion of the world.

Being a Floyd fan, I'm sure Floyd would kill Mosley within three rounds. If he can't beat old man inactive past his prime Mosley in 3 rounds - like Pacquiao would - then Floyd is cherry picking chicken bum.

Any KO later than the 3rd round will destroy Mayweather's legacy much further than it already has.

Why are people all over the age thing? It does not matter what age you are. It's how you respond to that age. I'd sage he is doing pretty good. He knocked out someone people thought were un stoppable.

Also. I haven't been on this forum long, but you are not a Floyd fan. Every thread I have seen you make is hating on him.

If Pacquiao KOs Mosley in 3 rounds or less I will give him credit. If not I won't give him credit.

If Mayweather KOs Mosley in 3 rounds or less I will give him credit. If not I won't give him credit.

There is no excuse for a fighter the caliber of Manny or Floyd not to be able to destroy an extremely old has-been, washed up, past his prime, inactive ex-fighter like Mosley in less than three rounds. The only reason Mosley is the number 2 welterweight according to Ring Magazine is because Ring is owned by Golden Boy which is co-owned by Shane.

Due to extreme inactivity, Shane should not even be in the top 10 much less the WBA champion.

Mayweather/Mosley should be a non-title tune up exhibition for Floyd.

Mosley's never been knocked out before, and has only been down twice in his career, why would u think he would get KO'd in three rounds, especially from Mayweather who doesn't possess crazy KO power? I have Mayweather easy 12 UD

But Mosley will not have fought for a year and a half by the time he fights Floyd. This combined with the fact that he is very old and washed up and was in his prime 12 years ago, makes it possible for Floyd to KO him in 3 rounds.

If Floyd can't beat a shot washed up old man then Floyd does not deserve to be in the top 150 greatest fighters of all time.
