He is very good on roughing up fighters on the inside. I wouldn't be terribly shocked if he beat Kessler. Along side fighting dirty, his right hand isn't that band. Also his jab is a little underrated, he needs to use it more.

Froch is almost 100% intangible. I've never seen a world class boxer with such down right appalling technique.

He is my favourite fighter at this minute. Awesome to watch the Taylor and Pascal bouts.

Froch has good pop especially in his right hand, good at fighting dirty , alot of heart, tough, solid chin.

His jab isn't the worst either when he uses it.

i think a younger version of froch actually looked a better fighter than the verison of froch we see in the ring now. froch in his earlier pre-taylor days would go to the body, use a long jab to set up an uppercut and would throw awakward but powerful punches from strange angles. these punches would often take his opponents by surprise and the punch you don't see coming is the one that hurts the most.

whether its the 'bertie big bollocks' attitude or the step up in opposition carl hasn't looked all that good recently (i suspect it might be both). at times hes looked plodding, slow, cumbersome and often he looks defensively lazy.

personally i think the flaws were always there with froch but more than anything its the step up in comp. that has highlighted his gtlaring weaknesses, he never really took on many skilled euro fighters and i think his wins over taylor, pascal and dirrell have been lucky. sooner or later he will get found out.

it clearly gets you far,because as far as boxing ability goes he is just plain terrible,the dirrell fight showed us that-a guy shows him some movement and he seemed a little lost in there
