    So I wasn't alone? Phew..

I seriously said "whoa.." and I didn't say another word for about 2-3 hours, went to sleep, woke up, didn't say much.

I was watching it with my dad(Rjjr fan since..1994?) and he didn't say a word also..

I know he had a "L" on his record but it was a DQ, Tarver was the first to seriously hurt and beat Roy Jones.

Nope. It was a perfect punch.

Pac did exactly the same shot against Hatton and he's praised as a legend for it. Tarver does exactly the same thing against Jones and it's lucky? Haha.

you're right, dogg. it's definitely "up there." i didn't see it live, i got home and saw it one the ESPN "sportsticker." had i saw it live tho, it probably would be THE most shocking boxing moment i've seen.

seeing cotto take that knee to margarito, and lose his first fight, was a big shock to me too...i saw that live tho.

Of course everyone's time comes at one point but I just couldn't believe when it did for Roy.

Tarver seemed more shocked then us to be honest, he couldn't do the post fight interview right because he lost his voice.

I enjoyed it immensly. I was tired of Roy saying he could beat the Klitschko's and all that mess he talked after beating Ruiz.

                  He just appeared delusional.

And I am a minority on this board, because I was a Tarver fan for a long time so it was especially sweet.

Full props to RJJ for his career though, and manning up and still fighting after some brutal losses.

I respect the guy very much overall.

Wasn't Roy Jones really close to fighting Mike Tyson? Then I believe he was offered a Lennox Lewis fight.

He had a lot of options but decided to go back down for Tarver and ruined his body, it's just a shame that we never saw the true potential/results of Roy Jones at Heavyweight.

There was even talk about a Corrie Sanders fight.

Roy wasn't made for heavy.... He got annoying for a while there.

The Tarver ko was 6 months after his first fight with Tarver so he had a year to go back down to the proper weight, a weight he fought at after as well.

He fought Tarver the second time 13 months after he fought Ruiz.

                      Just saying bro.
