Ellerbe had to explain to Floyd that it wasn't a death match.

ive lost count of the number of times muggins has said "were not fightin to prove to the fans who the best is" so how is he fightin for that reason? he thinks hes already the best so doesn't wanna prove it. even though he hadnt fought the best..(i dont get it either)
i reckon he had no choice, time was tickin away and what with pac announcing his next fight the pressure was on. he knew he had to make a big statement or the few fans he had left would of stopped supportin him. in floyds ideal world he wouldn't fight shane. people wont give him credit when he wins cos theyll say "shane is over the hill" which isnt really fair .. irrespective of the reasons behind takin the fight, he took it none the less. credit for that.

He wants to prove he's the best and he's not afraid of Mosley like Team Pacquiao.

Even though I have been a member of this site for several years, I am still amazed at some of the ****** **** I read on this site whenever I come on it. Some of the things in this thread is a continuation of some of the ****** **** that haters are constantly writing about Mayweather when they don't know a damn thing about his career or anyone else's for that matter and have no facts or ignore the facts that don't support their ****** ass opinions. If Mayweather offered Mosley a fight twice (which he turned down twice), and tried to get a fight with Cotto at 140 (but was turned down) how the hell can he be called a ducker? How the hell can the dumbass haters say he is a runner when his KO percentage is 62 percent, compared to 69 percent for Pacquaio an 66 percent for Juan Manuel Marquez (both of whom have had a lot more fights)? How can the haters say Mosley is the best in the welterweight division after he beat Margarito and would destroy Mayweather, but claim that he is too old now that the fight is signed? Mayweather took this fight because this is the fight that will make him the most money. He could have fought me and made more than Pacquaio is making against Clottey. He will make twice as much against Mosley as Pac is against Clottey and will draw three times as many PPVs, and that definitely doesn't have a damn thing to do with Mosley.

I am sure that some hater will respond to this post with another dumbass, ******ed comment, but I don't care anymore. I swear some of you haters need to give it a rest and get a life.

Not putting SSM down. I think he is good enough to beat PBF, mainly because PBF is yet to convince me.
But if PBF beats SSM he wont get the credit he hopes he will get.
                    Why wouldn't he get credit?
